It features contact details for a wide range of entertainers across Brisbane, Logan, and the Gold Coast—plus performers who are happy to travel. Whether you're planning a special event or looking to add variety to your activity calendar, this easy-to-use resource is designed to make your job just that little bit easier.

2026 Special Events Calendar

2026 Special Events Calendar to help make next year’s planning a bit easier. It’s full of fun theme days, national celebrations, and creative ideas to keep your programs fun and meaningful all year long. From Valentine’s Day and Harmony Week to Chocolate Day and International Friendship Day, it’s designed to spark joy and connection for your residents.

Yes! Residents Can Volunteer in Aged Care

This guide is all about showing the many ways residents can give back and feel involved, both inside their aged care home and in the wider community. Volunteering is a wonderful way to find purpose, share skills, and stay connected with others. It can also help reduce loneliness and bring joy through new friendships and shared experiences. By creating opportunities for residents to volunteer, Lifestyle Coordinators can ensure everyone feels valued, included, and proud of their contributions. Volunteering also supports the strengthened Aged Care Standards by helping residents feel connected to their facility, their peers, and the wider community.

The 100+ Club

The 100+ Club is a free initiative designed to help Lifestyle Coordinators celebrate residents who have reached the incredible milestone of 100 years or more. Each new member receives a special welcome pack that includes an exclusive membership badge, a regular newsletter celebrating their lives and sharing stories from other members, and invitations to 100+ Club social events held throughout the year. There’s no cost to participate, and we never ask for donations or bequests from families or members—just a genuine celebration of longevity, made easy for you to organise.
